MATERIAL 01 / CARBON FIBRE

CARBON

THE STRUCTURE

Strength is only part of the reason. Carbon allows Element 01 to carry structure through the purity of its form.

TINTED EXPOSED COMPOSITE
01 — WHY CARBON

THE MATERIAL IS THE ARCHITECTURE.

Element 01 was conceived around a composite shell rather than wrapped in carbon as an afterthought. The material makes possible the deep sections, controlled transitions and visual lightness that define the piece. The weave is not treated as decoration. Its direction, depth and finish become part of the visual composition of the chair.

02 — FROM FIBRE TO FORM

BUILT BY HAND. DEFINED BY PRECISION.

Each shell is cut, laid up and finished by hand, with every stage controlled to preserve the integrity of the structure and the clarity of the final form.

01 — PREPARATION

CUT WITH INTENT.

Woven carbon is precisely cut before lay-up, controlling fibre direction from the first piece.

02 — STRUCTURE

FROM LAYERS TO FORM.

The composite becomes the structural shell, giving Element 01 its strength and sculptural freedom.

03 — FINISH

THE SURFACE REVEALED.

Exposed, tinted or painted, the finish changes the expression while the carbon structure remains beneath.

03 — EXPRESSIONS

ONE STRUCTURE. DIFFERENT PRESENCE.

Carbon may remain bare or be specified in a curated range of tinted and fully painted finishes, tailored to the character of each commission.

MATERIAL 02 / LEATHER

LEATHER

THE TACTILE COUNTERPART

Where carbon defines the structure, leather brings warmth, tactility and individual character to Element 01.

LEATHER AND CARBON IN UNION
01 — WHY LEATHER

WARMTH, SHAPED WITH PRECISION.

Developed with Bridge of Weir, the leather combines automotive-grade precision with natural character. Selected for its consistency, depth of colour and tactile quality, it gives each Element 01 a precise individuality.

02 — FROM HIDE TO FORM

SELECTED BY EYE. SHAPED BY HAND.

Every hide is inspected, every panel deliberately cut, and every surface shaped around the geometry beneath.

01 — SELECTION

CHOSEN FOR CHARACTER.

Each hide is selected for its grain, consistency and depth of colour.

02 — CRAFT

CUT WITH INTENT.

Every panel is deliberately cut to preserve the most expressive areas of the hide.

03 — FINISH

SHAPED TO THE FORM.

Leather is tensioned and finished by hand around the geometry of Element 01.

03 — EXPRESSIONS

ONE MATERIAL.
DISTINCT CHARACTER.

Leather may be specified in a curated range of colours, grains and treatments, tailored to the character of each commission.

MATERIAL 03 / METAL

METAL

THE DEFINING ACCENT

Metal creates moments of contrast across Element 01. Warmth against precision. Softness against structure. Light against shadow.

METAL AS A POINT OF CONTRAST.
01 — WHY METAL

PRECISION,
GIVEN WEIGHT.

Used across key areas of Element 01, metal brings density, permanence and exactness. Its weight adds substance, while crisp surfaces and controlled transitions give the object definition.

02 — FROM ALLOY TO FORM

WHERE ENGINEERING
BECOMES CRAFT.

Each metal component is machined to precise tolerances, then finished by hand to define its final character through brushed, polished or sand-blasted surfaces.

01 — CUT

FROM MASS TO FORM.

Metal begins as solid stock. Through precision machining, everything unnecessary is removed until only the essential remains.

02 — FIT

RESOLVED BY HAND.

Each component is checked, fitted and refined against the surfaces it meets, where precision is measured and judged by feel.

03 — FINISH

CHARACTER IN THE SURFACE.

Brushed, polished or sand-blasted by hand, each finish is developed to control light, texture and presence.

03 — EXPRESSIONS

THE FINAL SIGNATURE.

Aluminium, titanium, brass and bronze each bring a distinct tone, temperature and character. The choice becomes part of the piece’s identity, with precious metals, including gold, available by special commission.

Our story
BEAUTY OR UTILITY?
A FALSECHOICE.

Objects are often treated as either useful or beautiful. ENNUA was founded on the belief that this is a false choice.

We bring the discipline of automotive design into the home: proportion, structure, material and function developed together. Element 01 is the first expression of that approach.

ENNUA IN THE PRESS

Designed like a supercar.
Noticed like one.

Element 01 was shaped by designers who spent years on some of the world's most extraordinary cars. The press noticed. Since its debut, ENNUA's first piece has been covered across design, interiors, lifestyle and private aviation titles.
